Hi everybody. Today we are in a class of 3(Lucia Misaki and Samuel). This is because most of the public transportation is not working due to the recent snow fall. Luckily school is still open. Since there are only a few children we will have a fun time! We made our own time table for today.
Hopefully see you all tomorrow!!

Grade 5 Paris Adventure
Today, we braved the sunny but freezing weather and headed out to solve riddles around Paris. We got quite cold at first, but warmed up nicely at the Lourve. We did few activities at each place, had snack, took photos, had lunch and even got to play kickball at Champs de Mars. Here are the riddles we solved and the photos are below:
Like a grey night
owl, I turn my bright head,
Four legs I do
have, yet I cannot tread
I am loved by day
but I prefer the night
As every hour I wear
a coat of shimmering light
I’m your grand
old lady and I float on the Seine
My passengers are
winged monsters, women and men
Sun through my
round portholes will show
Ancient stories
made of a broken rainbow
Folders I pass
and papers I stamp
I say yes, no and
maybe to a park or street lamp
In this grand old
building important decisions I make
As I watch others
play on a frozen lake
As the river of
time flows gently past
I pick up some
pieces so they will last
A rock, a head, a
smile, maybe a mask
All kept in my safe
pentahedron of glass
I’m like a stone
bridge in the heart of a star
I remember harsh
battles both near and far
I hope that this
memory will help to increase
The desire for all to
always have peace
Near the park,
there’s a big red machine
It doesn’t need
fuel, but children it seems
Beeping, clicking
again and again
Children go home
with a big full brain
The whole grade 5 enjoying the sun

New Student Council!
I'm happpy and a little bit sad that we have to re-elect a new Studen Council. The Term 1 Student council did a fantastic job!
THREE CHEERS!!! HIP HIP HOORAY; HIP HIP HOORAY; HIP HIP HORRAY!
However, I'm very sure the next Student Council will be just as great!
Here's a little video advertisement I made to encourage the primary students to run for election.

Hello 2013
The New Year has bought us new term and a new student, Sam. Welcome! Not only was it his first week, but it was also his birthday, so good old Sam had a big first week.
We also started our Revision lessons for Maths and Science. We made a little 3D Object museum with labels that use big words like perpendicular and parallel. Yeah!
