Greeeeeen Plants

We've been working hard in science reviewing all the topics we should know by now.

At the moment we are up to revising 'Green Plants'. In this topic we had a chance to do an experiment and make pretty diagrams.

Do plants really need light, minerals, the right temperature, water (and carbon dioxide - we couldn't test for that) to grow? here's our experiments ... We'll find our for sure soon!

Australia Day

On the 26th of January, Australia celebrates Australia Day. Usually there is a long weekend. Unfortunately for the East coast of Australia, there was a lot of rain. In fact there were floods. My brother's house went completely under! Not the best Australia Day for him.

On the Friday we tried Australian biscuits- Tim Tams! You can eat them normally, but my favourite way is to do the Tim Tam Slam- where you suck a hot drink through the biscuit! Here's the class trying a Tim Tam Slam:
